Are you longing for exciting adventures? If sport occupies an important part of your life, or if a holiday for you is all about exercise and indulging in a favourite hobby, then 7 Lakes Camping and the surrounding area will fascinate you. Regardless of the season, you can experience something different here every time – it's your desire that leads the way. The word “boring” is unknown to us, so we have tried to create modern conditions for physical activity within the confines of the camping. Of course the natural habitat allows you to engage in a variety of sports and adrenaline-pumping activities, whatever your fitness level, experience or age.
The sporting opportunities are limitless, so we've compiled a list of some of the most popular activities in and around the camping:
SWIMMING
For children and adults, the three mineral pools at the camping are ideal for swimming. Our large pool is semi-Olympic size and has five lanes for swimming, while the medium-sized pool is available for you to use all year round.
HORSEBACK RIDING
Horseback riding is a unique way to experience nature and its gifts. The mountain trails of Rila, around the resort of Borovets, offer some of the most picturesque terrain to enjoy this experience. If you want to give yourself a fun adventure on horseback, see here
BIKING
The countless cycle paths around the camping offer different levels of difficulty and routes (road, off-road and mountain). Don't worry if you don't have your own bike – you can rent one from us. Here you can see ideas for mountain biking routes or to ask at the reception desk for advice.
JOGGING
Peaceful walking paths surround the camping, while numerous forest trails lead off near Sapareva Banya. These are just some of the places where you can practice this pleasant and gentle sport in the fresh air mixed with the scents of pine trees.
CLIMBING
For the more adventurous, the dominant mountain terrain surrounding our camping provides excellent opportunities for mountain and rock climbing. The Skakavitsa Falls in Rila are one of the most exciting sites for ice climbing in the winter months.
WINTER ACTIVITIES & SKIING
The combination of a ski holiday and winter camping is amazing and completely possible with us. The oldest and largest ski resort in Bulgaria, Borovets, is located 37km from the camping. The resort has some of the best ski and snowboard trails in Bulgaria and offers a variety of winter activities. Here you can view more information.
FISHING
Around the camping you can enjoy a perfect fishing day. The waters of the beautiful Iskar Dam are favourite of many enthusiasts in the region. In the permitted areas, the most common species of fish are bream, perch, chub, and with better luck, carp and largemouth bass. Don't forget the fishing ticket and good luck!
TABLE TENNIS
There is a table tennis in the campsite, we also offer the necessary balls and paddles to play. Use of this attraction is free for guests of 7 Lakes Camping.
