PHYSIOTHERAPY

ULTRA-HIGH FREQUENCY THERAPY (UHF)

The therapy works on the principle of an ultra-high-frequency electromagnetic field that generates heat in the tissues. This procedure has a proven analgesic, anti-edematous, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect.

DIADYNAMIC

Diadynamic current procedures are a commonly used method in physiotherapy using the therapeutic effects of exposing the body to low-frequency diadynamic current. This type of electrotherapy affects various diseases of the peripheral nervous system (radiculitis, neuritis, plexitis, discopathy, etc.), traumatic problems, bronchial asthma, etc.

ELECTROPHORESIS/IONOPHORESIS

Electrophoresis, also known as iontophoresis, is one of the most popular methods in the physiotherapy arsenal. With the help of direct current, medicinal substances are introduced into the body quickly and painlessly. In this way, two factors affect the body - the drug itself and the corresponding current.

SOLUX

Solux is a procedure in which treatment is performed with visible and infrared light. Irradiation during light therapy has an anti-inflammatory effect on the body. In addition, it has a vasodilating effect, which accelerates the healing process, helps to reduce painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system and prolongs the remission of chronic diseases.

VACCUM

Vacuum therapy affects the body through vacuum massage of problem areas. Vacuum suction expands the vessels and improves blood circulation, thereby enhancing metabolism and increasing muscle tone and function.

INTERFERENCE CURRENT

Interference currents are medium-frequency sinusoidal alternating currents, amplitude modulated at low frequencies, that can be used in physical therapy practice. This type of therapy is good for the peripheral blood circulation and tissue exchange, which creates conditions for an anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effect.

VACCUM WITH INTERFERENCE CURRENT

Vacuum therapy combined with interference current stimulation is performed via vacuum electrodes that can be connected to an aspiration pump. This therapy is primarily useful for the treatment of various forms of vascular disease affecting the lower extremities.

RUSSIAN CURRENT

Like other low-frequency currents, this one has an analgesic and trophic effect, but it has a lower load on the skin compared to diadynamic currents. The therapy is used against chronic and acute localized pain and is successful in muscle spasm conditions.

VACCUM WITH RUSSIAN CURRENT

In this method, a negative pressure is created, and the treated tissues are actively supplied with blood (hyperemia), which enhances the effect of the therapy. It is used to treat all forms of vascular diseases, atherosclerosis of the lower limbs, Raynaud's disease, etc.

ULTRASOUND

Ultrasound therapy is a classic method in physical therapy that uses sound waves to treat injuries such as muscle strains or neuralgia, also diseases of the musculoskeletal system and many others. The effect of the therapy is based on the passage of the waves through the tissues - vortex movements are produced in the cytoplasm of the cells, and the intercellular exchange of substances is activated, which resembles a micromassage of the tissues.

TENS

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a proven and widely used method in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. TENS is used for nerve-based pain such as pinched nerve, neuropathy, arthritis, spondylitis, discopathy, etc.

ELECTROSTIMULATION

This is a classic procedure in which, via a weak electric current, contraction of one or several muscles happens. This physiotherapeutic method increases blood flow to the area, which aids healing and reduces muscle pain.

HYDROTHERAPY

INDOOR POOL WITH MINERAL WATER

There are two indoor recuperative pools, separated into male and female sections with mineral water designed for a therapeutic stay in the water, light procedures and relaxation. The pools are 4 x 2 m in size and 1 m deep. The water temperature is 27-29c

HEALING BATH WITH MINERAL WATER

This procedure has a pleasant and relaxing effect, but above all, it is characterized by a strong healing effect on the human body. The beneficial effect is primarily due to the specific ingredients of medicinal gases, mineral salts and trace elements contained in the water.

TANGENTOR /UNDERWATER JET MASSAGE/

The Tangentor is a specially designed bath for hydrotherapy, performed with an underwater jet massage. The procedure has a relaxing effect on the body and helps to relax the muscles. It improves blood circulation and microcirculation in the tissues while having a positive influence on the recovery process after injuries.

HYDROMASSAGE BATH

This therapy relies on a system of nozzles built into the tub that create water streams that massage the body with different strengths and at different angles. The benefits are related to stimulation of blood circulation, relief of pain, removal of tension and muscle fatigue.

PARTIAL BATH UPPER/LOWER LIMBS

The hydromassage sector bath procedure is designed for concentrated treatment of the lower and upper limbs.

LYE TREATMENTS

Lye has a strong healing effect and has been used since ancient times in the treatment of various diseases. Lye therapy has a positive effect related to problems of the musculoskeletal system, rheumatic complications, skin problems, traumatic-orthopedic and neurological complaints.

MUD BATH

The treatment method is through the so-called mud applications, and the positive effect of the procedures is due to the rich content of trace elements, enzymes and hormone-like substances. Mud therapy is an effective method in the fight against disease states affecting the locomotor system, the central and peripheral nervous system, skin diseases and several others.

PHYSICAL EXERCISES /ROCHE’S CELL/

Roche cell is a therapy in which certain active types of exercise are performed from light or non-stressful positions. Rehabilitation with this method is applied in the presence of fractures, overload, immobilization, after surgery, post-stroke conditions, etc.

SPECIALIZED THERAPEUTIC PHYSICAL EXERCISES

This therapy is a complex of physical and breathing exercises that aim to develop or maintain physical fitness and overall health. It is often aimed at improving pain and motor skills for problems of a heterogeneous nature.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE OF A WHOLE BODY

Therapeutic massage is a proven method of kinesitherapy, which is the application of dosed mechanical irritations to the body using different techniques. It is used for the treatment and prevention of many diseases, disorders and dysfunctions.

THERAPEUTIC PARTIAL MASSAGE /COLLAR, LOWER BACK, LIMBS, ETC./

APARATUS MASSAGE

LYMPH DRAINAGE/PRESS THERAPY

Lymphatic drainage is a procedure that helps improve lymph flow in the body. The benefits of this treatment method are numerous – it removes chronic fatigue, helps detoxify the body, reduces swelling and puffiness, improves immune protection, reduces cellulite, and prevents and relieves several diseases.

REFLEX THERAPY /WRISTS/

Reflexology is a commonly used and natural approach that helps the body rid itself of toxins, releases muscle tension and promotes healing processes. Also known as acupressure, this method stimulates internal organs and blood circulation by massaging external points in the body.
